Dear PAML Families,
To start things off this week I’d like to introduce you to our brand new PAML logo. This new image was approved by the EMUU board recently and we’re excited to share it with you here. You’ll see this image pop-up on our letterhead soon and we’ll be looking for other ways to get our logo “out there” in the future.
This year one of the things we have re-committed to is to provide regular communication from our grade level teams to our families. This week you should be receiving your second communication from your student’s grade level team. Our intention with these bi-weekly notes home is to share some information about what’s going on in classrooms as well as some images.
As we get deeper into the swing things here at school teachers are providing feedback on assignments in Schoology. Accessing the Parent Portal in Schoology is the best way to get detailed information about how your student is doing in school. Below I’ve included directions from our website on how to access the Portal. As always if you need assistance in logging in please get in touch with the PAML Office.

Unbound Program
Unbound began on 9/11. There is still plenty of space in some of our activities

We are very excited to have so many class options for Unbound this Fall! I encourage you and your child to take a look through the brochure and give something new a try! Please send registration forms back ASAP as we’ll need to determine if we have enough students signed up to run a class. Please reach out with any questions! Also, do you have interest in swimming lessons for our Winter 2024 session? We are looking into options at the Swimming Hole for a 6 or 8 week session. If this is something you are interested in, please reach out to me directly at amy.thompson@lamoillesouth.org so we know what we may have for numbers.

How to Appeal your FEMA Determination Letter – If you receive a letter from FEMA that stating you are ineligible for assistance, you can appeal. Ineligible does not mean denied – just that FEMA has not received everything needed to process your application.
